Lead, Serve, and Make an Impact
The Florida Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials (FBC-LEO) is now accepting nominations for the 2027-2028 Board of Directors.
As an FBC-LEO member, serving on the Board of Directors is more than a leadership opportunity. It is a chance to help shape the future of the organization, develop strategic initiatives, strengthen member engagement, and advance the mission of FBC-LEO throughout Florida. Your experience, ideas, and perspective can help guide the organization and create meaningful opportunities for current and future members.
Nominations are being accepted for the following positions:
- 2nd Vice President
- Treasurer
- Assistant-Treasurer
- Secretary
- Assistant Secretary
- Parliamentarian
- Regional Coordinator/Membership Director (North)
- Regional Coordinator/Membership Director (South)
- Historian
- Chaplain
- Sergeant-At-Arms
The position of 2nd Vice President will serve a two-year term. All other positions will serve one-year terms.
Eligible members must be a Regular Member in good standing and have been a Regular Member for at least one year.
New officers will be sworn in at the Annual Conference that will be held February 25, 2027.
The FBC-LEO Board of Directors meets at 5:00 p.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of every other month. If you wish to be considered for a board position, please complete the form below.

Membership renewal notices were emailed to all members in January. If you have not yet paid your dues, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible.
Your membership dues directly support FBC‑LEO’s advocacy efforts, programs, conferences, and leadership development opportunities. Thank you for helping strengthen our collective voice as we continue another year of collaboration and growth.
